In 2025 Weststar.ai created a new brand identity and website for Corde, a New York-based furniture business launched by former Head of Design at Phillips New York, Cordelia Lembo. Thoughtful, curated and quietly confident, the brand and website reflect Cordelia’s unique point of view and decades of experience in 20th-century design.
From the outset, Corde’s identity needed to do more than look elegant - it had to evoke a sense of grounded quality and trust. We developed a bespoke wordmark that blends traditional letterforms with subtle irregularities, balancing timelessness with tactile warmth.
Inspired by stone, sand and sunlit interiors, the colour palette spans warm off-whites, soft greys and natural tones. This chromatic restraint allows Corde’s inventory of refined furniture, objects and lighting to shine.
Using a user-friendly CMS platform, Corde.co was created to ensure a clean and responsive interface that elevates Corde’s imagery while remaining easy to manage post-launch.
We also supported the brand with onboarding to an email platform, enabling the commencement of personalised outreach to clients and prospects.
In early 2026 we were commissioned to work on a second phase to expand the site to include Corde's full inventory of stock. User-friendly filters together with striking photography with zoom allow for a refined browsing experience that showcases the selection on offer.
Just like Corde’s studio in Brooklyn, New York - flooded with natural light and designed for clarity - the website is both functional and atmospheric.
The brand and website design on the Corde project was led by accomplished creative director Adam Gamble, who first worked with Weststar.ai's founder on the Malts.com project for Diageo which showcases their unrivalled range of single malt whiskies.
